Spirit Life Miracle Ministries International began in the heart of Kampala’s Kansanga–Kabalagala district when Pastor Assadi Ddiba and his wife, Lydia, answered a powerful call to serve the marginalized in that area. What started in a modest hall next to the city’s red‑light district soon grew into a Spirit‑filled community marked by miracles, healing, and transformed lives.

Around 2013, after a period of vibrant ministry under Miracle Centre Cathedral (led by Pastor Robert Kayanja), Pastor Assadi planted Spirit Life in a rented building. Despite humble beginnings, the hall quickly filled as people experienced miracles of healing, deliverance, and spiritual breakthrough.

Within two years, a generous donor offered a larger venue—again in the Kansanga area—and the ministry continued expanding. Today, what began with a small gathering of 20–30 has grown into a thriving church serving hundreds weekly, including Sunday worship, midweek prayer, youth outreach, and women’s programs.

From its first services through prophetic preaching, prayer and healing, Spirit Life remains committed to its founding vision: to encounter those on the margins with the power of God, and to raise up believers to impact Kampala and beyond.
